After two weeks of delays, we are finally nearing the completion of the radiant installation on our Vancouver basement remodel. The most recent delay was due to a supplier issue, where the radiant insulation we ordered was given to another contractor. That error is what set our project back; especially since nothing else could be done until the radiant heating had been completed.
Now that we have received the radiant floor insulation, the plumbers are hard at work laying the required piping and insulation material. The radiant installation is said to only take two days, and we are on schedule to pour the first layer of concrete this Saturday. Hopefully all goes well, and we won’t see any more delays until the project is finished.
